Pennsylvania requires trailers with a gross weight of 3,000 lbs or greater to undergo an annual inspection. If you own a construction trailer, horse trailer, motorcycle trailer, or other trailer that uses electric brakes, contact Guthriesville Tire & Service to schedule an inspection. Pennsylvania Trailer Inspection Process

During a trailer safety inspection, we check the following:

• Glazing
• Door Operation
• Lamp & Lenses
• Internal Condition
• Beneath Condition
• Frame
• Braking System

The inspection process includes a road test to check if the trailer can stop within the maximum stopping distance and to verify it doesn't swerve out of the 12 ft lane.
